I Heart Indie Markets: Pop-up Events
I Heart Indie Markets: Pop-up Events (I.H.I.M. Pop-up Events) has events all over the United States. The first event took place in Madison, WI in November 2017 under the name Madison Makers Market. Over the years it has grown to being in three states, with more locations to come!
I.H.I.M. Pop-up Events has three types of maker events we currently coordinate:
Small community pop-ups. These events are usually coordinated along side another community function, ie: a tree lighting ceremony.
Makers Market + Bar Crawl events. These events take place at 4-8 breweries, distilleries or bars, all at once, and in the same neighborhood. Typically there are 30-85 vendors total who set up at various locations, adding a different twist to the ordinary sip & shop craft fair. These markets are walkable, though most offer free shuttle service as well.
Seasonal one or two day indie markets, which take place in one fun location! These events are typically larger events (50-200 vendors), and include “extras” like food trucks, kids craft corners, entertainment, etc.

Madison Makers Market was created in 2017 by Sara Thompto but was taken over by David Van in August 2019. This market is held four times per year and follows the same unique format of I Heart Indie Market's bar crawl + makers market theme.
Our Walkers Point Makers Market & Bar Hop is in partnership with Madison Makers Market.
