Licensing Options

We offer two straightforward ways to license the I Heart Indie Markets brand:

 

2-Year License - Starting base price + 10% royalties (reach out for details)
 

Perfect for those who want to test the waters or get started at a lower up-front cost.

You get:

​

  • Rights to use the IHIM brand in your territory for 2 years.

  • Complete start-up package to build a strong event foundation​

  • Use of branded event posters

  • Ongoing rights to run your own events independently under the IHIM brand

  • Full independence to plan, schedule, and host events as you choose

Great if you want flexibility and a shorter commitment while you grow.​

10-Year License - Starting base price + 10% royalties* (reach out for details)


A long-term licensing option that gives you 10 years of exclusive control of the I Heart Indie Markets brand in your territory—with the ability to renew at a significantly reduced cost when your term ends. 

​

You get:

​

  • 10 years of full, exclusive brand rights for your territory. No other IHIM License will be sold within an agreed upon radius. 

  • Complete start-up package to build a strong event foundation​

  • Use of branded event posters

  • Ongoing rights to run your own events independently under the IHIM brand

  • Full independence to plan, schedule, and host events as you choose

  • Low-cost renewal option after 10 years, ensuring long-term stability without paying the full license fee again

 

​*Only 5% royalties per event after year 3, so your ongoing costs drop once your business is established

​

This option is ideal for entrepreneurs who want long-term security, territory exclusivity, and the ability to build a deeply rooted, profitable creative event series in their region.​​

Financial Investment needed for Licensing

 

​Costs vary from city to city.

 

For smaller cities the base price begins at $1,000 for a 10 year license, and increases upwards of $15,000+ for larger cities with large events.

PLEASE NOTE: We're more concerned with making sure these events are in the hands of local event organizers who value community, handmade and shopping local. With that in mind:

  • No base price is above what you would easily make back in less than a year of events.

​​

  • Although a partial deposit is required, if you don't have funding up front, payment plans can be set up to come out of the event earnings. 

​
